Next Leeds United Manager Odds & Predictions

Leeds United have secured promotion back to the Premier League but reports in the media suggest that manager Daniel Farke may find himself out of a job before the start of next season.
According to reports on Monday 28th April 2025, club chairman Paraag Marathe is flying in from San Francisco for talks with the Leeds boss over his future at Elland Road.
The American will be in attendance for Leeds’ Championship clash with Bristol City on Monday evening and the hosts need a win to move back above title rivals Burnley with just one league game remaining.
Marathe and Farke will meet later this week to discuss the future and many believe that Leeds will decide to move on, particularly after Farke was relegated from the Premier League in 2019/20.
In fact, reports suggest that members of the 49ers Enterprises consortium that owns the club have privately expressed such doubts and the German will need to convince Marathe that he is the right man to keep Leeds in the top flight.
The owners have ambitious plans to turn Leeds into a consistent, top half Premier League side and the chairman will have the final say – though the consortium is made up of close to 100 investors.
With plans to expand Elland Road, the Leeds board will want to be 100% sure that they buy into Farke’s vision for the club and how they can survive in the top flight next season if they are to keep the German at the helm.
Farke has two years left on his current contract and he would be due a year’s salary if dismissed, which would eat into Leeds’ remaining budget to ensure the club adhere to Financial Fair Play rules and regulations. That would likely mean that the club would have to appoint a ‘free agent’ manager that is currently out of work.
It will be interesting to see what news comes out of Elland Road in the next week or so, with Leeds supporters generally split on whether they would rather keep Farke as manager or look for a new appointment.
Football betting odds on the next Leeds manager will be priced up if the club decide to part ways with Daniel Farke. For now, the German remains the club’s manager and his firm focus will be on leading the club to the Championship title.
