It’s here, the final day of this Premier League campaign will take place on Sunday, with the main talking question being, who will secure UEFA Champions League football next season with a top five finish? It’s still all to play for.

The final matchday in this Premier League campaign will take place on Sunday afternoon, with all ten games kicking off simultaneously.

Bournemouth will welcome Leicester City to the Vitality Stadium, Manchester City look to confirm a top five finish as they travel to Fulham, whilst Ipswich Town end their Premier League era with a home fixture against West Ham.

Elsewhere, Champions Liverpool will get their hands on the Premier League title when they face Crystal Palace at Anfield, across the M62 Aston Villa look to end their season in the top five at Old Trafford against Manchester United, whilst Newcastle United also have the same ambitions when they face Everton at St James’ Park.

Possibly the game of the weekend takes place at the City Ground, with both Nottingham Forest and Chelsea battling it out with the winner highly likely to finish in the top five, Southampton will wave goodbye to a dismal Premier League campaign against Arsenal, Europa League winners Tottenham Hotspur return to North London to face Brighton, whilst Wolves and Brentford go head-to-head at Molineux on the final day.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some football betting angles for Sunday’s Premier League fixtures:

Bournemouth v Leicester City – Sunday, 4pm

  • Back-t0-back defeats in the Premier League against Aston Villa and Manchester City have ended any hopes for Bournemouth and finishing in eighth.
  • Andoni Iraola’s side could still end the season in the top half, they sit eleventh prior to kick-off by a single point behind Fulham, victory here could move them into ninth and give them their joint-highest finish in the English top-flight.
  • The Cherries will also be out for revenge in this one having suffered a 1-0 defeat in the reverse fixture back in October, they have won three of their last three league meetings here against the Foxes.
    ——————————–
  • Leicester City have found some form in the Premier League but having already had their fate sealed, it’s far too late for the Foxes which must frustrate their faithful.
  • A victory in this one for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side would produce consecutive wins in the Premier League for Leicester for the first time since October, when they beat Bournemouth and Southampton.
  • This will be a tough trip for Leicester City though, who have won just two of their eighteen away games in the league thus far.

Prediction: Bournemouth To Win Both Halves & Bournemouth Most Corners In Each Half (17/4 – *odds subject to change – prices correct at the time of writing*)

Ipswich Town v West Ham United – Sunday, 4pm

  • Ipswich Town are heading into the Championship with a bit of a whimper after losing 2-0 to Leicester City last weekend, resulting in the Tractor Boys likely to finish nineteenth in the Premier League.
  • Kieran McKenna’s side have won just one of their last eighteen league games, they haven’t won a league game on home soil since their 2-0 win against Chelsea back in December.
  • Ipswich Town completed the double over West Ham but that was during their Championship campaign back in 2012, they lost this reverse fixture 4-1 back in October.
    ——————————–
  • It’s been a very inconsistent campaign for West Ham, especially since Graham Potter took over, the Hammers beat Manchester United 2-0 before losing their last outing on home soil against Nottingham Forest.
  • The Irons have won just five of their away games in the league so far, it’s been the worst PL campaigns for West Ham since suffering relegation back in 2011.
  • West Ham will be hoping to end the season on a high though, they’ve lost just one of their last seventeen top-flight meetings against Ipswich.

Prediction: Jarrod Bowen To Score Assisted By Either Mohammed Kudus or Lucas Paqueta – #YourOdds (5/1 – *odds subject to change – prices correct at the time of writing*)

Liverpool v Crystal Palace – Sunday, 4pm

  • It’s been a long wait for Liverpool fans to see their team lift the Premier League trophy after much of their winning campaign back in 2020 was played behind closed doors.
  • Since winning the league with a 5-1 victory here against Tottenham, the Reds have failed to win a game with their 3-2 defeat to Brighton on Monday evening extending their winless run to three games.
  • However, that hasn’t dampened the mood at all and they should bounce back in this one having won five of the last seven at Anfield against Crystal Palace.
    ——————————–
  • After their heroics in the FA Cup final, Crystal Palace returned to Selhurst Park to an emphatic welcome back and they repaid those fans again with a 4-2 victory over Wolves on Tuesday evening.
  • I’m sure the travelling Palace fans will be having a party of their own on Sunday, it’s been another strong end to the season for Oliver Glasner’s side who are now unbeaten in their last seven outings across all competitions.
  • Palace did take three points here last season with a 1-0 victory but suffered defeat by the same scoreline in the reverse fixture back in October, only three of the last eight competitive meetings between these two sides have seen three or more goals.

Prediction: Diogo Jota To Score Assisted By Mohamed Salah – #YourOdds (6/1 – *odds subject to change – prices correct at the time of writing*)

Southampton v Arsenal – Sunday, 4pm

  • Southampton will welcome the end of this Premier League campaign after becoming the fastest relegated team in the history of the competition.
  • Despite claiming one more point than Derby County’s record-breaking low eleven, the Saints could still claim an unwanted record here though becoming the first side to lose thirty defeats in a Premier League era.
  • The good news for Southampton is that they’ve scored in their last three meetings against the Gunners and have lost just one of their last four meetings (W1, D2, L1).
    ——————————–
  • Arsenal are on the verge of securing second place in the Premier League for the third year in a row, the Gunners are three points clear of Manchester City in third with a +12 goal advantage.
  • Mikel Arteta’s side head to the south coast with a fantastic record on the final day of their Premier League campaigns over the year, having won seventeen and drawing two of their last nineteen final day fixtures.
  • That record should continue here as the Saints haven’t won any of their last fourteen games across all competitions.

Prediction: Bukayo Saka To Assist A Goal In Each Half – #YourOdds (20/1 – *odds subject to change – prices correct at the time of writing*)

Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton & Hove Albion – Sunday, 4pm

  • Tottenham Hotspur will return to North London to a very warm welcome having ended their seventeen year wait for Silverware in Bilbao on Wednesday evening.
  • Ange Postecoglou stated earlier in the season that he always wins something in his second season, despite being under huge pressure all season, the Australian delivered after a 1-0 win against Manchester United in the Europa League final.
  • Spurs will be hoping to add salt to United’s wounds on Sunday as well, victory here could see the Lilywhite move above Man United and into sixteenth and possibly up to fourteenth, it’s been a dismal Premier League campaign but a Europa League trophy and UEFA Champions League next season is a nice bonus.
    ——————————–
  • Brighton gave themselves a huge chance of securing their spot in the UEFA Conference League following their 3-2 victory against Liverpool on Monday evening.
  • The Seagulls will be relying on Chelsea to win their next couple of games which would open up eighth place as a European spot, a point here would be enough for Brighton to confirm that spot.
  • We should be in for an entertaining affair here in London, as each of the last four meetings between these two sides have produced at least three goals.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score In Both Halves (11/2 – *odds subject to change – prices correct at the time of writing*)

Wolves v Brentford – Sunday, 4pm

  • Having previously put together six wins in a row in recent weeks, Wolves extended their winless run to three games on Tuesday night after a 4-2 defeat to FA Cup winners Crystal Palace.
  • Victory here and The Old Gold will finish in fourteenth but a defeat on Sunday could see them drop all the way down to seventeenth depending on results elsewhere.
  • Wolves have failed to beat Brentford in any of their last five meetings since 2023 (W0, D2, L2), whilst the reverse fixture was a thriller with Brentford winning 5-3, more of the same would be great.
    ——————————–
  • Brentford will be hoping a victory here and a Spurs win will be enough to secure them a place in the UEFA Conference League, which will depend on Chelsea’s last two fixtures.
  • The Bees sit behind Brighton by just three points but have a better goal-difference, all Thomas Frank’s side can do here is take victory and make sure they’ve done everything they can do.
  • Brentford really struggled on the road at the start of their Premier League campaign but have since turned things around, having lost just one of their last ten away games in all competitions (W7, D2, L1), whilst they’ve won their last two meetings against Wolves.

Prediction: Each Team To Have A Corner In All 4 Corners Of The Pitch – #YourOdds (9/1 – *odds subject to change – prices correct at the time of writing*)
