Chelsea Premier League Title Odds Slashed After FIFA Club World Cup Success

Chelsea are now priced at 15/2 (from 14/1) to win the 2025/26 Premier League following their incredible success over Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup final on Sunday.
The Blues secured a sensational 3-0 victory over the defending Champions League winners and punters have latched onto Enzo Maresca’s side ahead of the upcoming domestic campaign.
Chelsea last lifted the Premier League title in 2017 but the sports betting odds have the Blues in contention for the crown. With less than a month until the new season, it’ll be interesting to see if there is much transfer activity at Stamford Bridge.
English Premier League Outright Odds 2025/26:
Punters can bet on the outright winner of the 2025/26 Premier League at William Hill and here is the current state of the market:
- Liverpool – 2/1
- Arsenal – 9/4
- Man City – 3/1
- Chelsea – 15/2
- Newcastle United – 28/1
- Manchester United – 40/1
- Bar – 50/1
According to reported FIFA Club World Cup prize money figures, the Blues have earned a hefty sum for winning this summer’s competition and Maresca may look to bolster his squad before the end of the transfer window.
The latest Premier League betting odds have had a bit of a shift, with Arsenal overtaking Manchester City in the market. Arne Slot’s Liverpool, defending champions going into the new season, are favourites to retain the title.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “There’s been a shake up in next season’s Premier League betting after Chelsea’s eye-catching Club World Cup victory over PSG last night, with Enzo Maresca’s men 15/2 from 14/1 to win the title next season.
“That price puts the Blues fourth in the market in what appears to be a three-way race for the title – Liverpool lead the way at 2/1, with Arsenal only narrowly behind at 9/4 after reaching an agreement for Sporting striker Viktor Gyökeres over the weekend. Manchester City complete the top three at 3/1.”
Can Chelsea challenge the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal at the summit of the Premier League? Only time will tell. The Blues are certainly in the mix and it would be foolish to write them off at this stage.
