Burnley Top Premier League Relegation Odds After Poor Start (2025/26)
Burnley are the most likely side to suffer relegation from the Premier League this season, according to the latest odds available at William Hill.
The Clarets have picked up just four points from a possible 15 to open the 2025/26 campaign and they are now clear favourites in the betting to drop down to the EFL Championship.
While Wolverhampton Wanderers are favourites to finish bottom of the table, Burnley are a shorter price to suffer relegation to the second tier in 2025/26. Scott Parker’s side are 1/3 to be relegated this season while Wolves can be backed at 4/9.
Meanwhile, West Ham United – led by the increasingly under pressure Graham Potter – are now just 5/4 (from 2/1) to be relegated at the end of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
The Hammers slumped to a third home defeat of the season last weekend and the common consensus is that Potter is on borrowed time at the London Stadium.
Next up after Burnley, Wolves and West Ham are Brentford. With Thomas Frank leaving the club in the summer, the Bees are a 9/4 chance to drop down to the second tier while Leeds United are the biggest price of the newly promoted teams at 5/2.
Which Premier League Clubs Will Be Relegated In 2025/26?
Punters can bet on a team to be relegated in the 2025/26 Premier League season at William Hill and here is the current state of the market:
- Burnley – 1/3
- Wolverhampton Wanderers – 4/9
- West Ham United – 5/4
- Sunderland – 5/4
- Brentford – 9/4
- Leeds United – 5/2
- Bar – 7/1
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “In the relegation market, Burnley remain clear favourites at 1/3, with Wolves also odds-on at 4/9. Sunderland are 5/4, and West Ham have now joined them at that same price after their loss to Crystal Palace, something that would have been a bold call at the start of the season.
“Brentford are next at 9/4 after defeat to Fulham, which offers some encouragement for newly promoted Leeds, who are 5/2 and could become the first side in three seasons to avoid the drop in their first campaign back at this level.”
Newly promoted clubs have succumbed to the drop on a regular basis in recent times and Premier League fans will be keeping a close eye on the relegation battle as the season goes on. Who will drop down to the EFL Championship? Only time will tell.
