This is massive, with Hearts playing on Saturday night, Celtic could find themselves two points adrift at the top of the William Hill Premiership before this Old Firm derby.
Rangers make the short trip to Celtic having seen their title ambitions vanish following back-to-back defeats against Motherwell and Hearts, they’ll be looking to stop Celtic having any chance of another title when they meet here. The Hoops got the better of Rangers in both cup competitions this season but they haven’t won any of the last nine meetings against Rangers within ninety-minutes, with their last league victory coming back in September 2024. However, given what’s at stake for Celtic here, you’d expect them to do everything they can to change that poor league run.
