Celtic favourites again for William Hill Premiership after Old Firm win
The Bhoys now 4/6 for title triumph after closing gap on Hearts to one point; Jambos drift to 11/10
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “It’s been a William Hill Premiership season like no other and this weekend has produced yet more twists and turns, with Celtic’s Old Firm victory over Rangers meaning they are now title favourites once again off the back of Hearts’ slip-up to Motherwell yesterday.
“Hearts had been odds-on for the title ahead of the weekend at 4/6, but the events of the last 24 hours has seen that flip on its head, with Celtic now the 4/6 favourites to win an exhilarating title race, having shortened from 5/4 ahead of Matchweek 36, with Derek McInnes’ side having since drifted to 11/10.
“Hearts do hold a one-point advantage at the top of the table, but with two games left to play momentum may now be with The Bhoys, with the two title challengers still due to face each other in what’s set to be a mouth-watering clash on the final day of the season next weekend.”
