Dundee return to Dens Park for the first time this season in the William Hill Premiership, hoping to deliver three points in front of their own supporters. Their league campaign began with a narrow 1-0 defeat away to defending champions Celtic on Monday night, so there’s already a sense they need to respond quickly.
The Dee will want to push on from last season’s eighth‑place finish. It wasn’t a bad campaign, but ending three points behind their neighbours should give them plenty of motivation heading into this one, and they’ll be desperate to make a fast start at home.
Steven Pressley’s side will fancy their chances of getting off the mark, especially given they’ve won their last two meetings with Aberdeen — both by a 3-2 scoreline. Dundee are 17/10 with William Hill to take the win here.

Aberdeen, meanwhile, couldn’t have asked for a better start. The Dons have won all five of their competitive games this season — four cup victories followed by last weekend’s dramatic 2-1 win over Hearts, sealed with two late goals.
It’s exactly the kind of momentum they’ve been missing in recent years, and it should give their fans real belief that they can push for European places come May.
Although Aberdeen have lost the last two head‑to‑heads, they’ve won three of their last four trips to Dens Park, so they won’t be short on confidence. This fixture usually delivers goals too — the last seven meetings have all produced at least three, with six of those seeing both teams score. Aberdeen can be backed at 15/4 with William Hill to win while conceding.

St Mirren v St Johnstone – Saturday, 3pm

St Mirren return to the William Hill Premiership after beating Partick Thistle in the relegation/promotion playoff, and they’ll be hoping for a calmer season this time around without looking over their shoulder.
The Buddies welcome St Johnstone sitting top of the table after the opening weekend. A 2-0 win away at Falkirk continued their strong early form, with just one defeat in their first five competitive matches.
Despite losing the most recent meeting between the sides back in February 2025, St Mirren have an excellent home record against St Johnstone. That defeat is their only loss in the last seven clashes at St Mirren Park. Punters can back the hosts at 13/10 with William Hill to make it two league wins from two.

St Johnstone also started their campaign with a victory — a wild 4-3 thriller against Kilmarnock that put them second after matchday one. It’s a promising beginning for a side returning to the top flight after last season’s promotion.
Simo Valakari’s men have lost just two of their last twenty games in all competitions, although both defeats have come recently, and only one win in their last four meetings with St Mirren will be a concern.
Even so, anyone backing St Johnstone to continue their strong start can take the Saints at 19/10 with William Hill to win this one.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
