Next James Bond Odds: Henry Cavill slashed into 3/1 to be next 007
Henry Cavill’s odds with William Hill News to be the next James Bond have been cut from 20/1 all the way into 3/1 after a sustained surge of betting, though Callum Turner remains the 11/10 favourite.
William Hill first moved Cavill in to 8/1 from 20/1 following a burst of interest at the bigger price, but support continued as his quote shortened through 8/1 and 5/1, and has not dried up even now he is 3/1.
The bookmaker describes the move as one of the biggest shifts seen in their long‑running Bond market, particularly given Cavill has publicly distanced himself from the role.
In the latest betting, Cavill now sits second behind Turner, who is 11/10 to succeed Daniel Craig as 007. Aaron Taylor‑Johnson and Jack Lowden are next at 6/1, Harris Dickinson is 8/1, Louis Partridge 10/1, Jacob Elordi 12/1, with James Norton and Theo James each at 14/1 as part of a packed chasing group.
Next James Bond Odds:
- Callum Turner – 11/10

- Jack Lowden – 6/1
- Harris Dickinson – 8/1

William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: “Henry Cavill has long been in the conversation to be named the next James Bond, but the recent betting surge has taken his price from 20/1 all the way into 3/1, which is one of the biggest moves we’ve seen in this market.
“What makes it more remarkable is that he’s publicly distanced himself from the role, yet our customers clearly aren’t convinced that rules him out of being named the new 007. We cut Cavill into 8/1, then again through 5/1, and even at 3/1 the interest hasn’t stopped.
“With producers suggesting confirmation of Daniel Craig’s successor will be made before the end of the year, the next James Bond market is certainly hotting up!”
