Cincinnati Open Predictions: Best Bets for Monday August 17th 2026

| BY Sam Cox

Monday has a packed slate of tennis betting action at the Cincinnati Open with numerous big names in action in the round of 32.

Cincinnati Open Predictions Monday

  • Learner Tien -2.5 games (Evens)
  • Under 24.5 games (4/5)
  • Jessica Pegula -4.5 games (4/5)
  • Coco Gauff -6.5 games (11/10)

Learner Tien vs. Frances Tiafoe

Meeting for only a second time, Learner Tien is aiming to make it back-to-back wins after beating Frances Tiafoe at Delray Beach earlier this year. Both players won their second-round encounters in straight sets.

Tien was a semifinalist in Montreal after disappointments on grass and in Washington. Tiafoe has been a long way from his best since winning in Halle and had to retire from the Canadian Open due to a cyst in his right hand.

Tien is favoured for this one, and understandably so. Though Tiafoe is capable of beating anyone on his day, we’re backing the in-form Tien here.

Jiří Lehečka vs. Arthur Fils

These players have already met three times this year. Arthur Fils has won two of the three clashes, taking his record to 3-2 against Jiří Lehečka. None of this year’s matches have reached a third set.

Both players were swept aside by the brilliant Rafael Jódar in Montreal. Fils also lost to the Spaniard in Washington. Lehečka suffered a surprise round of 16 exit in the capital.

There’s very little to choose between these players, but recent matchups suggest it will be over pretty quickly. One player can get on top and get this wrapped up in straight sets.

Emma Navarro vs. Jessica Pegula

Emma Navarro hasn’t beaten Jessica Pegula in three attempts, though Navarro has won a set in their last two meetings. Navarro came from a set down to beat Anhelina Kalinina in the last round, while Pegula cruised past Simona Waltert.

Consistency has been hard to come by for Navarro. She’s only got one win against a top 40 player since she won the title on Strasbourg’s clay.

Pegula is the more reliable of the two, despite losing to inferior players in Washington and Toronto.

Coco Gauff vs. Ann Li

Ann Li hasn’t taken a set off Coco Gauff in their three meetings. Gauff had to come from a set down to win her last match, but got the job done comfortably in the end. Li beat Zhang Shuai in straight sets.

Strasbourg is the last time Li beat a top 40 player, just like Navarro. She’s generally been overmatched against the world’s top 20 and won only seven games against Elena Rybakina in Toronto.

This looks like the most routine of wins for Gauff, who didn’t drop a set until the semis at the Canadian Open.
