Irish Greyhound Derby Round Three Tips: Saturday NAPs

We are into round three of the 2026 Irish Greyhound Derby and some of the key contenders are really starting to emerge.

William Hill ambassador Dani Jackson is on hand with another selection for round three and in the outright betting.

Saturday, Shelbourne

Bockos Diamond is a greyhound who should be talked about and celebrated far and wide. He was the Irish Champion in 2024 before going very close in the English derby last year, beaten only a length and a half.

His double mission in the Irish derby came to an abrupt halt in round three last year after a very troubled run, and this year he didn’t make it past round one at Towcester. However, he has been right back on track with two demolition jobs at Shelbourne over the last two weeks.

He’s looked just as good as he did two years ago and regaining the crown looks a realistic dream for connections.

Saturday, Monmore

Away from the Irish Derby we have two massive finals at Monmore. Tooreen Rose is the one for me in the Summer Stayers Classic and will look to sit handy, if not lead, and pounce late.

In the Gold Cup I’m taking a punt with a little lady who has made a big impression on me. Scooby Diamond for Nathan Hunt scorches from the traps and will be looking to make all from the powerhouse Woltemade who is a very worthy favourite, but who may have to ride a bump or two and have too much to do to peg back the pick.

Tonight is a belter in the greyhound world and you can enjoy every race live at William Hill.
