Darts European Championship Betting Tips: 6/4 Fancy Among Best Bets On Sunday

| BY Sam Cox

Here are today’s best darts betting picks from the European Championship, with Sam Cox previewing the best of Sunday’s action on the oche for William Hill News.

Darts European Championship Predictions Today:

  • Gerwyn Price -2.5 (4/5)
  • Jonny Clayton To Win & Jonny Clayton Most 180s (6/4)
  • Krzysztof Ratajski +5.5 (Evens)

Gerwyn Price vs Stephen Bunting Tips

Gerwyn Price is in imperious form with emphatic wins over Cameron Menzies and Rob Cross. Stephen Bunting hammered Kim Huybrechts in the last round after a narrow win over Danny Noppert.

Price is clearly the favourite here. Bunting’s form isn’t great outside of a run to the semis in Maastricht. In contrast, Price has consistently reached the latter stages of marquee events.

Bunting might have beaten Price in their most recent contest, but that’s very much an anomaly. We expect an easy win for the Welshman.

Martin Schindler vs Jonny Clayton Tips

Seeing off two higher seeds, bettors need to be wary of the threat Martin Schindler poses to Jonny Clayton. Schindler appears to have found some well-timed form.

Clayton, though, won in Basel and has put in several strong performances in the Players Championships. He’s beaten Niko Springer and Josh Rock without going to a decider.

We fancy another strong performance from Clayton as he pursues another ranking semi-final appearance.

Luke Littler vs Krzysztof Ratajski Tips

Ranked 19th in the world, Krzysztof Ratajski was a quarterfinalist at the UK Open and the World Championship, but he didn’t make it out of the first round at the World Matchplay or the World Grand Prix.

Luke Littler has won all but three ranking events since the start of last season. A first-round exit at the World Grand Prix was nothing more than a blip for the world’s best player.

The 5.5 spread feels a little harsh on Ratajski, despite his mixed results in ranked events. Littler only beat Nathan Aspinall by five and the slip up in the World Grand Prix will be fresh in the memory.
