PDC World Darts Championship 2026: Final Predictions & Betting Tips

Darts Predictions

The 2026 PDC World Darts Championship final takes place on the Alexandra Palace oche on Saturday night, with defending champion Luke Littler looking to claim back-to-back titles.

The latest sports betting has ‘The Nuke’ as short as 2/5 to prevail in the showpiece fixture while Van Veen has been installed as the underdog at 19/10 to follow up his 2025 PDC Youth World Darts Championship success.

With a cool £1 million heading to the winner of Saturday’s contest, there’s plenty at stake for both players and it could be a classic. Two of the best darts players on the planet right now, it could be a record-breaking affair.

Without further ado, here’s my preview ahead of Littler v Van Veen on Saturday night – complete with a score prediction for the PDC World Darts Championship final, as well as my best bets on the action.

Luke Littler vs Gian van Veen Odds:

  • Luke Littler – 2/5
  • Gian van Veen – 19/10

Both players have been simply sublime in recent matches, recording 100+ averages and hitting 180s for fun. Littler was imperious in the semi-final against Ryan Searle despite losing the opening set while Van Veen came out on top in a thriller against Gary Anderson.

For me, Littler will be even better against a better opponent and Van Veen should bring out the best in him. He’s been sensational on the doubles and that could be the difference, with both players averaging above the 100 points mark.

Van Veen has already beaten Anderson and world number two Luke Humphries en route to the final so a victory for the Dutchman would be well deserved but Littler’s A-game is likely to be enough to prevail and I’m expecting a big performance from ‘The Nuke’.

Luke Littler v Gian van Veen correct score prediction: Littler to win 7-3 (6/1)

Luke Littler v Gian van Veen best bet: Littler to hit a 170 checkout in the match (3/1)
