PDC World Darts Championship 2026: Semi Final Predictions & Betting Tips

Four players remain in contention for the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship and both semi-finals will take place on the famous Alexandra Palace oche on Friday evening.

We’re now well and truly into the business end of the tournament and world number one Luke Littler remains in contention to defend his crown. He’s already hit the biggest dart checkout of them all in the quarter-finals, but could he hit a nine dart finish in the semi?

With both matches taking place on the Alexandra Palace oche on Friday night, punters will be eagerly anticipating two exciting contests and hopefully they live up to the billing.

Without further ado, it’s time to preview the PDC World Darts Championship semi-finals and you can read my predictions on the action below.

Luke Littler vs Ryan Searle

All eyes will be on Luke Littler here as he looks to reach a third successive PDC World Darts Championship final and you won’t find too many punters taking ‘The Nuke’ on.

Ryan Searle has taken his game to new heights this tournament and it would be foolish to write him off completely, especially after his impressive performance against world number five Jonny Clayton in the quarter-finals.

However, there are levels to this game and Littler, already regarded as a future legend of the sport, is one of the most talented players in darts history and he can flex his muscles in this contest. Confidence is sky high after his 5-0 thrashing of Krzysztof Ratajski on Thursday night.

Littler v Searle prediction: Luke Littler Win Match, Highest Match Checkout and Most 180s (1/2)

Littler v Searle correct score prediction: Littler 6-3 Searle (4/1)

Gian van Veen vs Gary Anderson

If anyone is going to upset Littler in his pursuit of back-to-back world titles, it could be Gian van Veen. He was imperious against world number two Luke Humphries on Thursday, running out a convincing 5-1 winner over the former world champion.

He averaged over 105 in that success and hit 55% of his doubles, and that sort of figure gives you a chance of winning any darts match. If he can emulate those numbers on Friday, you’d imagine he’s a shoo-in to reach the showpiece fixture.

Gary Anderson is a stalwart of the sport and he has a monster game in him, so he’s a dangerous underdog. He had a brief spell in the doldrums but class is permanent and he could take advantage if Van Veen has an off-day or the pressure gets to him.

Van Veen v Anderson prediction: Over 28 180s & Over 4 100+ Checkouts (2/1)

Van Veen v Anderson correct score prediction: Van Veen 6-3 Anderson (9/2)
