World Grand Prix Predictions: Bunting Goes Mental & Best Bets On Tuesday

The first round of the 2026 World Grand Prix continues on Tuesday. Here are our darts betting picks ahead of the best of the action this afternoon.

Ryan Searle vs. William O’Connor

Ryan Searle has won seven of his 11 previous meetings with William O’Connor, though it’s worth noting O’Connor has won two of the last three. Searle outperformed O’Connor at the Flanders Darts Trophy and understandably enters this match as the favourite.

The quick-fire nature of the World Grand Prix creates some uncertainty, though. O’Connor’s recent success in this matchup suggests he can make this difficult for Searle.

James Wade vs. Joe Cullen

Matches between these two have historically been very competitive. James Wade has won three of the last four contests, including a 6-5 thriller at this year’s Players Championship.

Their form is a long way apart, however. Wade won the Flanders Darts Trophy, beating Ross Smith in the final. Cullen fell to Andy Baetens, the world number 136, in the first round.

A two-time winner of this event, we fancy Wade to get the job done on Tuesday and he’s a fair price in sports betting ahead of the clash.

Stephen Bunting vs. Andrew Gilding

Andrew Gilding lost to a player outside the world’s top 100 in Antwerp. Stephen Bunting has won six of his nine matches against Gilding.

Bunting hasn’t had the best season. He’s not reached the last eight at any of the ranking events, and he fell to Josh Rock in the first round at the World Series Finals.

Still, he’s the better player and that should be enough to get past Gilding.
