Liverpool return to Anfield on Saturday still searching for lift‑off under Andoni Iraola, they face a Nottingham Forest side also on the hunt for their first win of the campaign.

Andoni Iraola looked an ideal stylistic match for Liverpool, but the early signs have been far more turbulent than expected. A 99th‑minute penalty was needed to rescue a point at Newcastle last weekend, extending their winless Premier League run to five matches stretching back into last season.
The imminent arrival of Bradley Barcola should inject some much‑needed optimism into the fanbase, and Liverpool can take confidence from their remarkable record in opening home league fixtures – they’re unbeaten in 22 straight Premier League curtain‑raisers at Anfield (W17, D5).
Even so, there will be a flicker of anxiety given recent history. Liverpool have lost their last two home meetings with Nottingham Forest without scoring, a rare and uncomfortable trend for a side usually so dominant on Merseyside. William Hill make the Reds 8/15 favourites to put that right.

Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, are coming off one of the strangest campaigns in recent memory – four managers, a brush with relegation, and a Europa League semi‑final all in the same season. Oliver Glasner has been tasked with bringing stability and direction after last year’s chaos.
It hasn’t been the smoothest start for Glasner, with back‑to‑back defeats to Leeds in league and cup action immediately testing his new regime. A trip to Anfield is hardly the ideal setting to chase a first competitive win.
Forest have won their opening away league match in just one of the last eight seasons (D3, L4), and despite recent success at Anfield, they remain sizeable underdogs here. William Hill price them at 9/2 to spring another surprise.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
