We start Saturday’s Premier League action at Anfield with a Merseyside derby, as Liverpool go head-to-head with bitter rivals Everton in the early kick-off (12.30pm).
We’ve then got four games all kicking off at 3pm up and down the country, Brighton & Hove Albion welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the south coast, Burnley will take on Nottingham Forest at Turf Moor. West Ham lock horns will fellow London side Crystal Palace, whilst two early Premier League strugglers look for a vital win as Wolves face Leeds United at Molineux.
Saturday evening provides us with two games this week, Manchester United and Chelsea will go head-to-head in a blockbuster at Old Trafford at 5.30pm, whilst the 8pm kick-off takes us to West London for a derby, with Fulham and Brentford locking horns and looking for those bragging rights.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Saturday’s fixture:
Brighton & Hove Albion v Tottenham Hotspur – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on Brighton v Tottenham with William Hill
- Having beaten Manchester City just before the International break, Brighton returned to the Premier League with a bit of reality suffering a 2-1 defeat away to Bournemouth last Saturday, producing just two shots on target.
- Fabian Hurzeler’s side return to familiar surroundings and that’s good news for the Seagulls, given they’ve not lost on home soil in their last six competitive fixtures, whilst they’ve won the last two meetings here against Spurs.
- The worry for Brighton & Hove Albion is their leaky defence, they’ve kept just one clean sheet in their last sixteen Premier League outings, including the last nine on home soil, expecting some goals in this one.
——————————– - Tottenham Hotspur look like a completely different side this season under Thomas Frank, of course it’s still early days but a much more organised set up has seen Spurs win four of their five games in all competitions, including a 1-0 victory against Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening.
- Spurs have the chance to end a rotten record on the road, a victory here on Saturday afternoon would make it three wins in a row away from home in the Premier League for the first time since 2020, remarkable.
- Despite none of their five games in all competitions so far producing both teams to score, this fixture tends to throw up goals with each of the last five meetings producing the BTTS, i’m expecting more of the same here but i’ll back Tottenham to edge it.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Tottenham To Win, Brighton 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur.
Burnley v Nottingham Forest – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on Burnley v Nottingham Forest with William Hill
- Burnley have suffered a tough return to the Premier League and not just in terms of the results, it’s been the manner of the results with the Clarets enduring late heartbreak in their last two games against Manchester United and Liverpool after looking like defying the odds and taking home a point.
- Notwithstanding the fact they’ve picked up just one win from their first four games in the Premier League, Burnley will be pleased to be back at Turf Moor as their defeat to Liverpool was their first here in their previous twenty-five outings.
- There’s real optimism amongst the Burnley faithful given how they’ve played in the first four games, given their home record and the fact that Scott Parker has won his last three managerial meetings against Nottingham Forest, they’ll be hopefully on Saturday.
——————————– - Arsenal away is always a tough place to get a result but it’s even harder when you’ve only had a matter of days in charge of a new squad, Ange Postecoglou knows he won’t be judged on those kind of games but these games against newly-promoted sides will be judged.
- The Tricky Trees looked set to secure a place in the next round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night having been 2-0 up against Championship side Swansea but Postecoglou seen his side concede two late goals and eventually lost the game 3-2, not an ideal start.
- Nottingham Forest are now without a clean sheet in their last ten away games which doesn’t look like improving under this new system and the style of play, Forest have quality in the final third but might struggle to take all three points in this one.
Prediction: Chris Wood 2+ Shots On Target (Price Boost), Burnley 1-1 Nottingham Forest
West Ham v Crystal Palace – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on West Ham v Crystal Palace with William Hill
- There’s a real sense of toxicity surrounding West Ham United at the moment as the fans are getting fed up with not just their current manager but also the hierarchy. The Hammers have lost three of their opening four Premier League games which has seen the pressure pile on Graham Potter.
- There’s also strong rumours that Slaven Bilic could return to the club if Potter is relieved of his duties, another loss at the London Stadium on Saturday and that would likely be the case, making this a must win for the Irons.
- The first goal could be an important one in this all-London affair as the Hammers have failed to win any of their last twenty-four league games when conceding first, whilst the last seven West Ham games in all competitions have all seen at least three goals.
——————————– - Crystal Palace have started the season strongly as they remain just one of three sides that are yet to suffer a defeat in the opening four games, although three of their four games have ended in a stalemate.
- Oliver Glasner’s side faced Millwall in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night and after seeing his side require penalties to advance into the next round, the Austrian came out and stated how some of his players are fatigued as they lack options from off the bench, a slight dig at the board.
- I’m expecting goals in this one, as seven of the last eight meetings here in East London have seen both teams find the back of the net, with Palace scoring two or more in four of those.
Prediction: Each Team Over 1 Corner In Each Half (#YourOdds), West Ham 1-2 Crystal Palace
Wolves v Leeds United – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on Wolves v Leeds with William Hill
- Wolves have made the worst start to a top-flight season in the clubs history having lost all four of their Premier League games so far but despite sitting bottom of the league, manager Vitor Pereira has signed a new three year deal at the club.
- Wolves have lost each of their last eight games in the Premier League, whilst their only win this season came against West Ham in the EFL Cup and potentially without Jorgen Strand Larsen again here, the wait for a victory could go on.
- The Old Gold have won just one of their last five meetings against Leeds, that came in the EFL Cup, they’ve not beaten Leeds in a league game since February 2021.
——————————– - Having got off to the perfect start against Everton in their opener, Leeds United have since struggled having been beaten by Arsenal, Sheffield Wednesday and most recently Fulham last weekend.
- With just one goals so far in this league campaign for Daniel Farke’s side and without a goal in their last three outings, another toothless performance in front of goal would see them go four games without a goal for the first time since the 2022/2023 campaign.
- This is a really tough game to call but i’m going to stick my neck on the line a little bit here and back the away win, i feel like Wolves will get themselves on the scoresheet but with confidence at such a low, i’m backing Leeds to win.
Prediction: Leeds United To Win, Wolves 1-2 Leeds United
Fulham v Brentford – Saturday, 8pm
Punters can bet on Fulham v Brentford with William Hill
- Fulham finally picked up their first win of the season last weekend after a last minute own goal against Leeds United, a win here would secure successive league victories for the first time since February for Marco Silva’s side.
- The Cottagers are just one of two sides (Arsenal) that are yet to concede a goal from open play in the Premier League this season thus far, although that could change here with Brentford scoring at least once in each of their last eight games away to Fulham.
- Fulham managed to complete the double over Brentford last season, but they’ve not beaten the Bees here in consecutive league games since January 1954, will that record come to an end on Saturday night?
——————————– - Brentford have actually performed better than many people would have thought given the huge changes at the club during the summer months, in particular with the arrival of the unproved Keith Andrews as manager.
- The Bees make the short trip to Craven Cottage off the back of that 2-2 draw with Chelsea last weekend and a penalty shootout victory against Aston Villa to see them into the next round of the EFL Cup.
- Again, this is a tough one to call given there’s not much to separate the two sides on paper but i’m going to back the home side to just nick this one in a really close encounter between the two West London rivals.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Fulham To Win, Fulham 2-1 Brentford
