Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Saturday’s fixtures:
Chelsea v Sunderland – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on Chelsea v Sunderland with William Hill
- Following that disappointing 3-1 defeat to Brighton last month, Chelsea have well and truly bounced back with four wins in a row including victories against Liverpool and most recently Ajax.
- Enzo Maresca’s side made no mistake against ten men Ajax in the Champions League on Wednesday night and a 5-1 win sets them up nicely for this PL fixture, only Man City have won more PL points at home in 2025.
- These two sides haven’t met since 2017 but Chelsea’s record against the Black Cats is a very solid one, having won four of the last five meetings between the two sides, they’ve lost just one of the last six meetings here at Stamford Bridge.
——————————– - Sunderland have surprised many with their start to this campaign having returned to the Premier League for the first time since 2016/2017, they enter matchday nine in seventh place.
- With four wins from their eight games so far and only two points off Manchester City in second, Regis Le Bris’ side are in dreamland and despite it being early days, there’s still enough shown so far that the Black Cats can stay in this division.
- The Black Cats are unbeaten in their last thirteen away league games against London sides and have already managed to take a point here in the capital with a 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace.
Prediction: Chelsea To Win To Nil, Chelsea 3-0 Sunderland
Newcastle United v Fulham – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on Newcastle United v Fulham with William Hill
- Having suffered their third defeat in the Premier League away at Brighton last weekend, Newcastle bounced back in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night with a 3-0 victory against Jose Mourinho’s Benfica.
- The Magpies now need to transfer that form into their Premier League fixtures though having won just two of their first eight games so far, the run of form that has left Eddie Howe’s side in fourteenth place on matchday nine.
- Newcastle United have seen six of their last eight games produce at least three goals whilst they’ve won six of the last eight meetings between the two sides, albeit lost both meetings last season.
——————————–———————— - Fulham have hit a little bit of a rough patch in recent weeks, the Cottagers have lost each of their last three outings having won all three previous to these recent games.
- Marco Silva’s side travel to the North East looking to replicate their 2-1 victory here back in February but that is easier said than done, especially as they’ve won just two of their last ten away games in all competitions.
- Fulham have the chance to secure back-to-back away league victories against Newcastle for the first time since 1951 but they’ll likely need to score at least two if they are to do that, given they’ve kept just one clean sheet in their last seventeen Premier League games.
Manchester United v Brighton & Hove Albion – Saturday, 5.30pm
Punters can bet on Manchester United v Brighton with William Hill
- It’s been a long wait for Manchester United but the Red Devils finally won consecutive games for the first time under Ruben Amorim, whilst winning at Anfield for the first time in nearly a decade in the process, some might say it was a perfect day for United.
- There’s no doubt that Ruben Amorim got his gameplan spot on for United’s trip to Liverpool but we’ve seen this side pull off some really good results against the top sides and drop their standards in these type of games, which will be a concern for those United fans.
- United will be looking to continue this winning form and especially at Old Trafford, where they’ve won each of their last five games in the Premier League, scoring at least two goals in each of those victories.
——————————– - Brighton travel to Old Trafford having made a strong start to this new campaign, the Seagulls are unbeaten in their last four top-flight games but have won just one of their four away from home.
- Fabian Hurzeler’s side have only kept one clean sheet in their last twenty Premier League games which doesn’t bode well when visiting a side that sit third for producing the most shots so far (15.3 pg).
- Brighton have actually had the better of Manchester United in recent years, they’ve won six of the last seven meetings between the two sides, including each of the last three here in Manchester, all of which produced both teams to score.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & No Draw, Manchester United 2-1 Brighton

Brentford v Liverpool – Saturday, 8pm
Punters can bet on Brentford v Liverpool with William Hill
- Brentford’s start to the season under Keith Andrews has been an inconsistent one (W3, D1, L4), having lost to Manchester City they travelled to West Ham and impressed on the road, with a 2-0 victory to move them up to thirteenth.
- Victory in this one against the current Premier League champions would secure back-to-back victories in the Premier League for the first time since May.
- The Bees have seen five of their last seven home games in the Premier League produce over 2.5 goals, whilst they haven’t beaten Liverpool in any of their last five meetings.
——————————– - Liverpool losing four in a row is unheard of these days but that’s exactly what happened after defeat to Manchester United raised more questions about Arne Slot and some of these players.
- Arne Slot made the big decision of dropping Mo Salah from his starting eleven against Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday but that didn’t matter too much, with the Reds bouncing back in style with a 5-1 victory.
- Liverpool will be full of confidence again now ahead of their trip to West London and given the fact they’ve won each of the last give head-to-heads with a combined score of 12-1, the Reds should take all three points in this one.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Liverpool To Win, Brentford 1-3 Liverpool
