Premier League Preview: Who you got this weekend?

| BY News Team

The Premier League returns this weekend after an international break that saw England get the better of Scotland in the 150th anniversary heritage match. The Three Lions were 3-1 winners on Tuesday.

Manchester City start the weekend top of the table. City are the only side with a 100% record in the division after four games. They visit West Ham on Saturday.

Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs are one of four sides two points behind City. They’re joined by Liverpool, West Ham and Arsenal.

Look out for great offers on all sports across the weekend, including Top Price Guarantees, Double #YourOdds and much more. Plus, your Epic Boost will be refreshed on Sunday morning!

To get you ready for the footy, let’s take a look at three of the standout Premier League fixtures…

Wolves v Liverpool

Molineux

Saturday, 16th September @ 12:30

Since their opening-day draw with Chelsea, Liverpool have three wins from three and will be confident of making it four when they visit Molineux.

Wolves have three points from four games (W1 L3) and are struggling to find the back of the net since the departures of the likes of Raul Jimenez, Adama Traore, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho.

History is not on their side for this one, either. Liverpool have won 12 of their last 13 Premier League games against Wolves. It’s 13/8 on the Reds to win and keep a clean sheet.

Mohamed Salah could be one to watch. He’s scored against Wolves in four of the last five seasons and has netted two in four this season. Salah is 3/1 to have over two shots on target at Molineux.

West Ham v Man City

London Stadium

Saturday, 16th September @ 15:00

Since leaving Everton in 2013, David Moyes has only picked up two points from a possible 39 against Manchester City. Can his West Ham side take something from the leaders at London Stadium? The Hammers are 5/1 to win and 19/5 to get a point.

The set pieces of James Ward-Prowse will be key to their chances. The former Southampton skipper has one goal and three assists since joining West Ham. Get 10/1 on him getting another goal, but West Ham to slip to defeat.

City have won 12 of their last 15 Premier League games versus West Ham (D3), while Pep Guardiola is unbeaten against them (W12 D2).

Erling Haaland inspired wins in both meetings last season, scoring three times as City ran out 2-0 and 3-0 winners. So far, Haaland’s goalscoring record in 2023/24 has mirrored 2022/23. He scored a hat-trick on MW5 last season. It’s 12/1 he repeats that this weekend.

Everton v Arsenal

Goodison Park

Sunday, 17th September @ 16:30

Everton picked up their first point of the season before the international break with a 2-2 draw at Sheffield United. Can they inflict a first defeat of the campaign on Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal?

The Toffees picked up all three points when the sides met at Goodison Park last season, James Tarkowski sealing the win in Sean Dyche’s first game in charge. Dyche could do with something similar on Sunday to ease the pressure. He’s 11/8 to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job.

It’s 5/1 Everton take all three points in this one, while a repeat of February’s 1-0 victory is 18/1.

They’ll be keen to keep the ball away from Martin Odegaard. The Arsenal skipper has scored more Premier League goals against Everton (3) than he has against any other side. Odegaard has already netted twice this season. He’s 6/1 to open the scoring and 12/5 to net at any time.
