Premier League Preview | Who you got to pick up three points?

| BY News Team

Ange-ball is flying after Spurs recorded their eighth win of the season against Crystal Palace in MW10. The Lilywhites continue to set the pace in the top flight – they sit two points clear of north London rivals Arsenal and champions Man City.

This weekend, City host Bournemouth at 15:00 on Saturday and could climb into top spot. Then Arsenal’s title credentials will be tested against Newcastle in the teatime kick-off.

It’s Monday Night Football that sees Spurs look to remain unbeaten when they welcome former boss Mauricio Pochettino and his Chelsea side.

Across the weekend, we’ll have picks from our footy expert Nicole Holliday, Enhanced Odds and much more. Plus, your Epic Boost will be refreshed ahead of Sunday’s double-header.

Let’s dive into the action and look at three of the standout Premier League fixtures…

Fulham v Man Utd

Craven Cottage

Saturday, 4th November @ 12:30

The weekend starts by the Thames as Man Utd look to get their season back on track against Fulham. The question is: are you feeling the pressure, Erik?

Last weekend’s derby defeat was followed by a cup exit at the hands of a heavily-rotated Newcastle side. Those 3-0 defeats have been damaging for Erik ten Hag, who is 6/4 to be the next Premier League manager to leave.

However, Craven Cottage has been a happy hunting ground for the Red Devils, who’ve won on their last six league visits. It’s 21/20 that United record a seventh consecutive win at the Cottage.

Aside from their record at Fulham, United have struggled on recent visits to London. They’ve only won one of their last 11 trips to the capital (D3 L7), so Fulham will look to pile on the misery at 9/4.

There are a range of Enhanced Odds for this game, including Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford each to have over one shot on target at 7/1 (was 11/2). Rashford hit the target twice when the sides met at Old Trafford in May.

Newcastle v Arsenal

St. James’ Park

Saturday, 4th November @ 17:30

Arsenal put their unbeaten record on the line with a tough trip to Newcastle on Saturday evening. The Gunners will look to dust themselves down after their EFL Cup exit to West Ham on Wednesday.

Mikel Arteta’s side have enjoyed visits to St. James’ Park, winning on eight of their last 10 trips. Meanwhile, they’ve managed to keep 30 Premier League clean sheets against the Magpies – the most one side has kept against another. Get 16/5 on Arsenal to win to nil.

Newcastle will be buoyant, though. Eddie Howe made eight changes to his side for the cup in midweek, but they still strolled past Man Utd. Despite being handed a tough away draw at Chelsea in the quarter-finals, they’re 4/1 to lift the EFL Cup.

With their focus returning to the league, Howe will be eager to extend their unbeaten run to seven (W4 D2) after last weekend’s 2-2 draw at Wolves. And three points – which they’re 17/10 to pick up – could help to close the gap on the top four.

Two in-form strikers are set to face off in this mouth-watering clash. Eddie Nketiah scored his first Premier League hat-trick last weekend against Sheffield Utd. While Newcastle’s Callum Wilson bagged a brace at Wolves – he’s now averaging a goal every 60 minutes.

If you think both will be on the scoresheet, why not create a Build #YourOdds? It’s 15/2 the pair score at any time.

Spurs v Chelsea
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Monday, 6th November @ 20:00

Ange Postecoglou has made the best start by a Premier League manager in his first 10 games (W8 D2 – 26 points). Can his Spurs side carry on their phenomenal form against London rivals Chelsea?

The Lilywhites beat Chelsea 2-0 in February and are looking to record consecutive league wins over the Blues for the first time since November 2018. The league leaders are 11/10 to achieve it.

Captain Son Heung-min has been a key part of the Spurs success. He’s scored eight league goals this season, with only Erling Haaland netting more (11). It’s 29/20 that he nets his ninth in this one, while you can get 13/5 on Son to score in a Spurs win.

Chelsea, meanwhile, continue to go through transition under Mauricio Pochettino. So far, they’ve given more minutes to players aged 21 or younger than any other side, which could explain their patchy run of form.

They had gone three games unbeaten (W2 D1) before falling to a 2-0 home defeat to Brentford last weekend. But the Blues have generally been strong at Tottenham. They’ve scored more away goals against Spurs than any other side in the competition (51). It’s 2/1 that Poch returns to haunt his former club.
