William Hill Premiership Odds: Hearts Must Deal With Hardest Run-In
Latest research from William Hill News has revealed that Hearts have the hardest final five games of the 2025-26 William Hill Premiership season of the three title challengers.
Analysis of all recent head-to-head encounters, 2025-26 home and away form (depending on venue), current league position and recent league performances have been valued and combined to produce an overall difficulty rankings for each fixture.
The data revealed Rangers’ trip to Tynecastle on May 4th as the hardest assignment, but favourable home fixtures against Motherwell and Hibernian make the Gers’ run-in the easiest.
Hearts, on the other hand, will play both Motherwell and Edinburgh rivals Hibs away from home, while also having to travel to Celtic Park on the final day, which could well be a title decider.
Celtic face both Rangers and Hearts at home and therefore rank second for their run-in difficulty.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “As we head into the William Hill Premiership league split this weekend, all the talk is about which of the top three have the most favourable run-in.
“Our data analysis has combined four key metrics to produce an overall fixture difficulty rating for each match – recent head-to-head encounters, home and away form (depending on venue), current league position and recent league performances – to give an overall difficulty rating for every team’s run-in.
“As if things couldn’t get harder for Hearts up against the Old Firm powerhouses, their fans won’t be pleased to know that they have been dealt the hardest run-in, according to our data.
“Their final five games are seen to be a shade trickier than Celtic’s, with the Hoops’ set of fixtures proving a slightly tougher task than Rangers’, who have the easiest run-in.
“That said, there is little to pick between the three and it could all come down to Hearts’ visit to Celtic on the final day, which will no doubt be a cracker!”
