England World Cup Squad Odds & Predictions (2026)
Leading bookmaker William Hill have priced up which players will be selected by Thomas Tuchel in England’s 2026 World Cup squad announcement tomorrow, with Trent Alexander-Arnold given an implied 50/50 chance of selection.
The Real Madrid defender is outside of the 26 players will be on the plane next month going by the betting, trading at even-money, with fellow right-backs Reece James (1/6) and Tino Livramento (8/13) and Djed Spence (4/5) all holding shorter odds than him.
Elsewhere in the market, Marcus Rashford’s odds of making the squad have been cut from 1/4 to 1/12 in recent days, alongside Chelsea defender Levi Colwill (4/5 from 6/4).
Meanwhile, Luke Shaw’s price of even-money suggests he likewise has an uphill task to be named in tomorrow’s squad, while strikers Dominic Calvert-Lewin (3/1) and Danny Welbeck (4/1) are not fancied.
To Be Named In The England 2026 World Cup Squad Odds:
- Marcus Rashford – 1/12
- Reece James – 1/6
- Ollie Watkins – 1/6
- Tino Livramento – 8/13
- Levi Colwill – 4/5
- Djed Spence – 4/5
- Trent Alexander-Arnold – EVS
- Luke Shaw – EVS

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “A few storylines are already developing around tomorrow’s England squad announcement, with Trent Alexander-Arnold one of the several high-profile players potentially missing out.
“The former Liverpool right-back is even-money in our market and needs to make ground on the likes of Reece James, Tino Livramento and Djed Spence in order to win a seat on the plane.
“Luke Shaw is another big name who may not be in Thomas Tuchel’s plans, while the third striker position is also proving to be a difficult one to predict, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Danny Welbeck each holding big prices.”
