Final One Standing: World Cup 2026 Edition

We’re excited to announce the launch of Final One Standing: WC26 Edition, now live for William Hill customers ahead of one of the biggest sports betting events in the world.

Building on the success of the Premier League edition, the new World Cup format gives players the chance to compete throughout the tournament for a share of an incredible £250,000 prize pot – and you can play Final One Standing here!

Accessible through the existing Final One Standing game lobby across desktop, mobile and app, the WC26 Edition has been designed specifically for the unique World Cup format, helping to keep customers engaged from the opening group stage fixtures right through to the final.

How does it work?

The concept is simple: Pick a Nation to win their match to progress. If they lose or draw, you’re out.

To reflect the structure of the World Cup, there are a few key differences in this edition:

• 12 pre-defined rounds covering the Group Stages through to the Final
• Two reset rounds (Rounds 8 & 11), allowing players to select the same team again
• During the knockout stages, wins in Extra Time or via Penalties will count
• Players still standing at the end of the tournament will share the £250k prize
• Customers can enter now, with entries open until 20:00 on 13 June.

Launching ahead of the tournament gives us the opportunity to maximise participation and engagement before the first ball is kicked.
