The betting market with William Hill has seen a significant drift on Reform to win the Makerfield by-election following Thursday night’s episode of Question Time from the Greater Manchester constituency.

Reform UK, who were 5/2 earlier in the week, have drifted out to 4/1, while clear favourites Labour continue to shorten to take the Greater Manchester seat.

Makerfield by-election Odds:

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Last night’s Makerfield Question Time has seen Robert Kenyon lose even more ground in our by-election market, with Reform UK now 4/1 from 5/2 to win the Greater Manchester constituency.

“Our punters have instead piled into Andy Burnham’s price of 1/3, which we’ve been forced to shorten further to 2/11, making Labour the overwhelming favourites to win this month’s vote.”
