After just falling short to Ousmane Dembele in this year’s Ballon d’Or, Lamine Yamal is the 9/4 favourite with William Hill to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

Bet on the Ballon d’Or with William Hill.

Kylian Mbappe is next in the market at 6/1 after a brilliant start to the season, while Dembele is considered an 11/1 shot to win consecutive awards and Vinicius Jr is slightly behind the PSG winger at 14/1.

A handful of the world’s best follow at the 16/1 mark, including the likes of Raphinha, Harry Kane, Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah, and Jude Bellingham.

Previous winners Rodri and Lionel Messi are next at 20/1, whilst Cristiano Ronaldo is 33/1 to win his sixth Ballon d’Or. Victories in major competitions such as the Champions League and domestic competitions will no doubt strengthen each player’s case.

William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps said: “After finishing second in this year’s Ballon d’Or, Lamine Yamal has already proven himself among the very best and we make him our 9/4 favourite to go one better in 2026.

“Kylian Mbappe has started the new campaign in explosive form, reflected by his 6/1 price, while reigning champion Ousmane Dembele is a double-figure chance at 11/1. With so much football still to be played, the market remains competitive – several of the game’s biggest names can’t be split, sitting between 16/1 and 33/1.”
