| BY News Team

Former Manchester United assistant Rene Hake has been installed as the 6/4 favourite to become the next Hearts manager following Derek McInnes’ departure to Rangers.

Fellow Dutchman Dick Schreuder, current boss of Eredivisie side NEC, is next in the market at 4/1, while former Republic of Ireland international Robbie Keane completes the top three contenders at 6/1.

Bet on the Next Permanent Hearts Manager

  • Rene Hake – 6/4
  • Dick Schreuder – 4/1
  • Robbie Keane – 6/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Rene Hake has quickly emerged as the standout candidate in the market to become the next Hearts manager, and at 6/4 he’s already a strong favourite. Dick Schreuder is the nearest challenger at 4/1.

“Robbie Keane is also prominent in the betting – priced at 6/1 to fill the vacancy left by Derek McInnes’ appointment at Rangers.”
