World champion, Phil "The Power" Taylor, will be looking to win his fifth Desert Classic in just eight runnings of the event but will have to be at his best from the outset in this quick-fire, short-form, match play event.
The PDC Top 16 automatically qualify for the event and are joined by the top four in the North American Order of Merit. Nearly 200 players competed in qualifiers earlier this week for the remaining 12 spots in the draw.
