14/1 for Red Bull team orders to win the Championship
Mark Webber was told to maintain his gap on Sebastian Vettel during the final lap of the British Grand Prix and William Hill are offering 14/1 that Sebastian Vettel ends up winning the Championship by fewer than 3 points as a result.
"Vettel, Hamilton, Button and Di Resta were all six figure liabilities for us and we saw hardly any money on Alonso until BBC's Eddie Jordan backed him just before the race," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "We must have been the only people in the country hoping for a NON British win."
Sebastian Vettel failed to win for just the third time this season and William Hill offer 10/11 that the German Grand Prix marks the next time that Vettel achieves less than maximum points.
He is 5/2 to fail to win next in Hungary and 5/1 to do so in Belgium.
Hills go 100/1 about Vettel failing to win another race for the entirety of the season.
"It has become quite a rarity for Vettel not to be seen on top of the podium this season although that he is now odds on to miss out again at his home Grand Prix in two weeks time," added Crilly.
Fernando Alonso has been cut from 22/1 to 14/1 to win the Drivers Championship following his victory although Sebastian Vettel has also been trimmed from 1/14 to 1/16 for overall victory.
Jenson Button crashed out and he is now 40/1 to win while Lewis Hamilton is 33/1.
