Incredible Hulk throws F1 title into chaos
Nico Hulkenberg defied odds of 250/1 to qualify fastest to really throw a cat amongst the pigeons and qualify fastest in Brazil.
Championship leader Fernando Alonso struggled and came in fifth, while Vettel, Webber and Hamilton finished third, fourth and fifth. Jenson Button only qualified in 11th place and his title bid seems all but over.
Sebastian Vettel is now the 5/4 favourite with William Hill to win the Brazilian Grand Prix with Mark Webber 9/4.
Lewis Hamilton is 5/1 and Fernando Alonso 15/2.
Despite his pole position, Hulkenberg is 14/1.
Jenson Button's disastrous qualifying makes him 66/1 to win the race.
"What a surprise! We took just two bets on Nico totalling £6. Excellent though his qualifying was, all eyes will be on second to fifth place come four o'clock tomorrow," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
Fernando Alonso is still odds-on to win the Championship at 5/6, while Mark Webber is priced at 2/1. Vettel is 13/2 and Lewis Hamilton is 12/1.
