British Boys Backed For Bavarian Blowout

Fernando Alonso looks to be the main challenger to the Red Bull dominance at this weekend’s German Grand Prix and he is the 2/1 second favourite behind Sebastian Vettel (5/4) for victory. Mark Webber is 5/1 and Lewis Hamilton 15/2.

Hills make Sebastian Vettel 8/13 to qualify fastest with Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber 7/2. The British pairing of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button are 12/1 and 25/1 respectively.

“Unfortunately, it looks like the British challenge has hit the buffers and it now appears down to the Ferrari boys to take up the mantle of Red Bull’s biggest challengers,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Three Germans finished in the top ten at Silverstone and Hills offer 7/4 that it happens again at their home Grand Prix. Hills go 7/1 that five finish in the top ten and 2/1 that four do.
