Raikkonen price takes a plunge
Kimi Raikkonen has been well backed with William Hill following his fine performance in Jerez last week and he has been cut from 50/1 to 20/1 to win this year's Drivers Championship. With William Hill alone have racked up six figure liabilities with a month to go before the start of the F1 season. The two Mercedes cars also performed well at the first four day testing event and Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg have both been cut from 50/1 to 40/1.
"These early testing sessions rarely give us much insight as to who will win the Championship, but on his return to an F1 car, Raikkonen has wowed punters and his price has plummeted," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
Sebastian Vettel is undoubtedly Hill's favourite to win the Championship, with bets of up to £10,000 being staked at Even money. Fernando Alonso is 4/1, Lewis Hamilton 11/2 and Jenson Button 8/1.
