French Open Schedule & Key Dates (2025)

The 2025 French Open gets underway with the first round starting on Sunday 25th May, with Grand Slam action taking place right through to the men’s singles final on Sunday 8th June.
Regarded by many as the most challenging Grand Slam event, it is the only Slam to be held on a clay court – with the Australian Open and US Open on hard court and Wimbledon taking place on grass.
Roland Garros is the location for the French Open and a record 675,000 spectators attended last year’s event. It’ll be interesting to see how attendance figures in 2025 compare to the 2024 competition.
Tennis betting on the outright result is open now and all eyes will be on the French Open draw to see the respective routes to the final. You can read our comprehensive 2025 French Open betting preview ahead of this year’s Grand Slam event.
The eyes of the tennis world will be on Roland Garros for what should be an exhilarating fortnight of sport. Grand Slam tennis is on a whole other level to other ATP/WTA events and the French Open is one of the highlights of the calendar year.
