Special Guests Oasis Live '25

Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder is a 5/1 favourite with William Hill to make a special guest appearance alongside Oasis on stage in Cardiff on Friday evening.

Oasis will play live for the first time since August 2009 and the Welsh capital will host the opening two shows before the band travel up north for five shows at Heaton Park.

Mancunian singer Ryder leads Paul Weller and Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown, both priced at 6/1 in the latest betting at William Hill, in the market to appear on stage at Oasis’ return gig.

Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno (9/1), Jarvis Cocker (12/1), Damon Albarn (16/1) and Sir Paul McCartney (25/1) are other major names in contention.

To Appear Alongside Oasis As A Special Guest In Cardiff:

  • Shaun Ryder – 5/1
  • Paul Weller – 6/1
  • Ian Brown – 6/1
  • Gruff Rhys – 7/1
  • Jake Bugg – 7/1
  • Serge Pizzorno – 9/1
  • Rick Witter – 9/1
  • Liam Fray – 10/1
  • James Dean Bradfield – 10/1
  • Jarvis Cocker – 12/1
  • Brett Anderson – 16/1
  • Damon Albarn – 16/1
  • Sir Paul McCartney – 25/1

Liam Gallagher has been active on social media in the build-up to Friday’s gig, insisting that Oasis would be getting straight into it and there would be no messing about. However, many believe that one or two guests may be invited onto the Cardiff stage.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “With Oasis set to make their return tomorrow after more than 15 years away, expect a huge party in Cardiff, and an array of stars to be in attendance at the iconic show.

“Some may be set to appear on stage with the Gallaghers, and we make Happy Mondays lead Shaun Ryder the 5/1 favourite to be a special guest in the Welsh capital, ahead of a list of legends including Paul Weller (6/1), Ian Brown (6/1), Jarvis Cocker (12/1), Damon Albarn (16/1) and Sir Paul McCartney (25/1).”

We’ve looked at the Oasis first song odds, the chances of an early end to the Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour and even if Liam Gallagher will wear a Man City shirt. It’s time for the talking to stop, we’re now a matter of hours away from the band’s return.
