Next US President Odds: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Moves Ahead Of Trump In Betting

Trump v Musk White House USA President

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has moved ahead of Donald Trump in William Hill’s market to become the next US President after a night of successes for the Democrats in the US regional elections.

AOC is 9/1 from 12/1 to become the next US President and now heads incumbent President Trump in the market, with only JD Vance (9/4) and Gavin Newsom (7/2) at shorter odds.

The representative for New York’s 14th congressional district has also shortened in the Democrat Presidential Nominee market, into 5/1 from 6/1, and is behind only 7/4 favourite Newsom in the betting.

US Presidential Election 2028 Winner Odds:

Punters can bet on the winner of the 2028 US Presidential Election at William Hill and here is the current state of the market:

  • JD Vance – 9/4
  • Gavin Newsom – 7/2
  • Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – 9/1
  • Donald Trump Sr. – 10/1
  • Pete Buttigieg – 16/1
  • Donald Trump Jr. – 20/1
  • Marco Rubio – 20/1
  • Bar – 25/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Last night was a big one for the Democrats, with Zohran Mamdani elected as New York Mayor and projected wins in governor races in Virginia and New Jersey.

“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez endorsed Mamdani in the New York Mayoral race and he in turn could be a strong advocate of AOC, which has seen her shorten to 9/1 from 12/1 in our market to be the next US President. Interestingly, AOC has now moved ahead of Donald Trump in that market, with the current POTUS a 10/1 chance to win an unprecedented third term.

“AOC has also shortened to 5/1 from 6/1 to be the Democrat Presidential Nominee – for all that Governor of California Gavin Newsom remains a strong 7/4 favourite.”
