Judgment Day: Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua Prediction (19th December 2025)

Empty boxing arena waiting new round .

Jake Paul announced on Monday that he will fight Anthony Joshua in Miami on Friday 19th December 2025, with William Hill installing the British fighter as the long odds-on favourite to prevail.

According to the early boxing betting odds on the contest, the former world heavyweight champion is 1/12 to win the bout – which is an official professional fight and will go on each fighter’s record.

The heavyweight bout is scheduled for eight three-minute rounds, as opposed to the traditional 12 three-minute round format, and Joshua will be capped at 245lbs.

Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul Odds:

Punters can bet on Jake Paul v Anthony Joshua at William Hill and here is the current state of the market:

  • Anthony Joshua – 1/12
  • Draw – 12/1
  • Jake Paul – 13/2

This will be Paul’s 14th professional fight, and he current has just one loss on his record – a split decision defeat to Tommy Fury in 2023. He will have plenty of supporters for December’s bout, particularly as the fight takes place on US soil.

At the time of writing, Paul is priced at 13/2 to pull off a huge upset next month. He has defied the odds on several occasions though, and he even defeated 58-year-old Mike Tyson – one of the all-time heavyweight greats – last year.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Whilst Jake Paul has shown he’s no joke in the ring, taking on Anthony Joshua is certainly a huge step up and we think the Youtuber will struggle in next month’s showdown in Miami.

“It’s not a walkover – and one big punch can change anything in boxing – but AJ is fully expected to overcome Paul at 1/12.”

It’ll be interesting to see if Paul can go toe-to-toe with Joshua into the later rounds or if the British fighter will assert his dominance early on in the fight. Follow the latest developments and boxing news at William Hill.
