Reform Close in on Burnham in Makerfield By-election Betting
Reform have shortened in William Hill’s Makerfield by-election market, with Labour easing to 1/4 from 2/11 and Reform now 3/1 with four days to go. Restore Britain have drifted to 20/1.
William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: “Momentum in Makerfield has shifted slightly in Reform’s favour over the last few days, with Labour drifting from 2/11 to 1/4, while Robert Kenyon has shortened into 3/1 from 4/1.
“Andy Burnham is still the clear favourite, but with Reform closing the gap and only a few days of campaigning left, there’s just enough movement in the market to hint that Labour’s grip on Makerfield is not quite as ironclad as it looked a week ago.
“Rebecca Shepherd and Restore Britain have meanwhile drifted out to 20/1 from 9/1 in what’s shaping up to be a clear two-horse race in Greater Manchester.”
