Czech Darts Open 2026 Predictions, Odds and Best Bets
William Hill News have Luke Littler as the player to beat at the Czech Darts Open, priced at 11/8 to claim the title in Prague.
Luke Humphries, the reigning two-time champion, looks the strongest alternative at 7/1, while Gerwyn Price and Wessel Nijman offer more value further down the outright market at 11/1 and 12/1 respectively.
Tournament format and schedule
The Czech Darts Open runs from Friday 4 September to Sunday 6 September at the PVA EXPO in Prague. It is a European Tour event featuring 48 players, with 16 first-round matches on Friday before the top 16 ranked players enter in round two on Saturday.
The final day begins with the third round on Sunday afternoon. The quarter-finals follow in the evening, before the semi-finals and final conclude a demanding final session.
Third-round and quarter-final matches are best of 11 legs, semi-finals are best of 13 and the final is best of 15.
The compressed structure demands high scoring and quick recovery.
A player can go from the last 16 to champion in one day, so rhythm, confidence on doubles and the ability to handle repeat pressure are essential.
Luke Littler – 11/8
Littler is the clear favourite at 11/8 and is making his first European Tour appearance since the Belgian Darts Open in March.
The world No.1 has the scoring power to overwhelm any opponent in the short-format early rounds and has the composure to deliver when matches tighten late on.
His route begins against either Niko Springer or Martin Homola, and Littler will expect to get past that opener.
From there, the challenge increases, but the format suits a player who can produce huge bursts of scoring and take a match away in a handful of visits.
At a short price, Littler is not a value selection for every betting approach, but he is the most likely winner. If he brings his top level to Prague, the rest of the field face a formidable task.

Luke Humphries – 7/1
Humphries is the defending champion and has won each of the last two editions of the Czech Darts Open.
He defeated Kim Huybrechts in the 2024 final before overcoming Josh Rock to successfully defend the title last year, making him the man with the strongest course record in Prague.
The world No.2 enters the event in round two and could face Beau Greaves if she gets past Daryl Gurney in Friday’s opening round.
Greaves produced a 104.88 average in defeat to Rob Cross on her European Tour debut last week, so Humphries may need to be sharp immediately.
At 7/1, Humphries is the standout value play from the top of the market. He has proven he can win in Prague, has the all-round game to manage the long final day and should have the motivation to complete a rare three-peat.
Prediction: Luke Humphries to reach the final, with 7/1 an appealing outright price.
Gerwyn Price – 11/1
Price is available at 11/1 and enters the draw in round two, where he will face either Callan Rydz or Cristo Reyes. Both are capable of delivering a high-level performance, but Price has the game to impose himself if he is clinical on the doubles.
The Welshman’s biggest strengths are his intensity, scoring bursts and willingness to embrace pressure. Prague’s lively environment tends to suit a player who thrives on emotional energy, and Price certainly fits that description.
His 11/1 price is a fair reflection of a player with genuine title-winning ceiling but a slightly less reliable week-to-week profile than Littler or Humphries. For anyone looking past the two Lukes, Price is an obvious contender.

Wessel Nijman – 12/1
Nijman represents a more adventurous choice at 12/1. He has enough scoring ability to live with the sport’s biggest names and is capable of turning an early-round win into a deep run, especially in the fast-paced European Tour format.
The Dutchman needs to make his chances count on the outer ring. If his doubling stands up, he has the quality to make the latter stages and reward each-way support at a bigger price than the established favourites.
Prediction: Wessel Nijman to reach the quarter-finals.
