World Grand Prix Predictions: 10/3 For Wade To Win Thriller & Thursday’s Best Bets
Here are our darts betting picks for the World Grand Prix on Thursday – with our tipster previewing the action and selecting his best bets and predictions.
Darts World Grand Prix Tips Today:
- James Wade to win 3-2 (10/3)
- Luke Humphries -1.5 (4/5)
- Gian van Veen -1.5 (6/5)
James Wade vs Stephen Bunting Prediction
It’s six wins apiece for James Wade and Stephen Bunting in the head-to-head. Each of the last three matches have gone the distance.
Wade went all the way in Antwerp, while Bunting fell in the third round. Wade’s form was the better of the two in the World Series Finals, too.
We think this will be competitive, as it often is when these two are involved, but we fancy Wade to get the job done.
Luke Humphries vs Jermaine Wattimena Prediction
Luke Humphries is heavily favoured in this best-of-five matchup. Jermaine Wattimena upset Chris Dobey in the first round of this event, but he’s not exactly been impressive in 2026 and he exited the World Series Finals in the first round.
Interestingly, Wattimena has five previous wins over Humphries, but the Englishman has won the last three contests. The world number two also had an early exit from the World Series, though he was a finalist in the Premier League and the World Masters.
We fancy the favourite to get the win without too much stress.
Gian van Veen vs Ryan Searle Prediction
Ryan Searle has the upper hand over Gian van Veen historically, but their matches have been hard to call in recent memory. Van Veen hammered Searle 10-2 at the European Championship.
Searle’s form is far less impressive than van Veen’s. The Dutchman has a strong record of late with deep runs at the last two events.
We think van Veen will progress on Thursday night.
