Northern Ireland Open Best Bets: 11/10 McGill Heads Tuesday’s Top Snooker Predictions

| BY Sam Cox

Here are our favourite snooker betting tips for Tuesday’s action at the 2026 Northern Ireland Open, with predictions and best bets at William Hill News.

Northern Ireland Open Predictions Today:

  • Thepchaiya Un-Nooh +1.5 frames (11/10)
  • Anthony McGill to win (11/10)
  • Over 6.5 frames in Joe O’Connor vs Ricky Walden (9/4)

Thepchaiya Un-Nooh vs Kyren Wilson Prediction

The pick of Tuesday’s matches sees Thepchaiya Un-Nooh take on Kyren Wilson. Un-Nooh won 4-2 against Aaron Hill in the round of 64, while Wilson didn’t drop a set against Ben Mertens.

It’s been a disappointing start to the season for Un-Nooh, with qualifying defeats at three events and first-round exits at the English Open and Shenzhen Open.

Wilson, though, hasn’t exactly been at his best. It’s three wins apiece in their six matchups to date.

Jack Lisowski vs Anthony McGill Prediction

Defending champion Jack Lisowski beat Huang Jiahao 4-1 in the first round. Anthony McGill staged an upset with a 4-1 win over Stephen Maguire to reach the second round of a ranking event for only the second time this season.

Other than banking on a repeat of his performance from 12 months ago, there’s not much in Lisowski’s form for bettors to believe in. McGill has been more consistent so far this term.

We think the defending champion gets toppled here. Here’s got a 1-6 record against McGill.

Joe O’Connor vs Ricky Walden Prediction

Both of these players impressed in the first round. Joe O’Connor saw off Matthew Stevens 4-1. Ricky Walden won by the same scoreline against fourth-seeded Australian Neil Robertson.

This represents a success for O’Connor, who has lost in the qualifying phase of four of this season’s six ranking events. Walden is aiming to reach his first ranking third round since last year’s English Open.

There’s been very little to choose between these players over their last few meetings. It could go either way – we’re expecting a long match.
