Northern Ireland Open Best Bets: Our Tipster Has A 3/1 Double On Saturday’s Semi-Finals

| BY Sam Cox

Here are the best snooker betting tips from William Hill ahead of the 2026 Northern Ireland Open semi-finals, which are set to take place this Saturday.

Northern Ireland Open Predictions Today:

  • Jak Jones to win (Evens)
  • Kyren Wilson -2.5 (Evens)

Mark Williams vs Jak Jones Betting Tips

Mark Williams and Jak Jones had to work harder than they may have hoped in their quarter-finals. Williams beat David Gilbert 6-4, while Jones had to take a deciding set against Scott Donaldson. Both favourites made it through, though, and will play for a final berth on Saturday.

Jones is on the rise, having won two ranking events already this year. Williams was a finalist at the English Open and has a 5-2 record in the head-to-head.

As the odds indicate, this projects to be a very close matchup between the two Welshmen. Williams has the experience edge, but Jones is playing the best snooker of his life and has toppled many of the world’s best players in recent months.

Wins over John Higgins, Judd Trump, and Mark Selby give us confidence Jones can reach yet another ranking final.

Kyren Wilson vs Sam Craigie Betting Tips

Sam Craigie faces Kyren Wilson in only the second ranking semi-final of his career. Craigie was ranked outside the world’s top 70 earlier this month, and had only made one third-round appearance at a ranking event since the 2023/24 German Masters ahead of this event.

For Wilson, this could prove to be the start of a resurgence. The former world champion wasn’t at his best last season. This is his first semi-final appearance at a ranking event since he won the Players Championship in 2024/25.

Chris Wakelin, Mark Selby, and Neil Robertson lost in the early stages, which has helped Craigie make this improbable run. The 32-year-old has still had to play at a very high level to beat Xiao Guodong, Xu Si, Matthew Selt, and Elliot Slessor.

Wilson, though, hammered Craigie 5-1 in the Shenzhen Open and a similar outcome is likely here.
