Paris Masters Betting Tips 2026: Value To Be Had If You Look Past The Top Two In Betting

| BY Sam Cox

Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz are the tennis betting favourites for the Paris Masters.

Jannik Sinner and João Fonseca remain sidelined through injuries. Zverev, Alcaraz, Ben Shelton, Daniil Medvedev, Flavio Cobolli, Félix Auger-Aliassime, Arthur Fils, and Frances Tiafoe receive byes to the second round.

Race for ATP Finals

A key storyline at the Paris Masters is the race to the ATP Finals. Beginning in Turin on Nov. 16, results in Paris could be decisive as players jostle for position.

Medvedev improved his chances of qualifying for the season-ending showpiece by winning his fourth ATP title of the year at the Almaty Open. As of Oct. 26, Zverev, Shelton, and Alcaraz are the only players to have confirmed their place in Turin.

Medvedev’s title saw him leapfrog Cobolli, who lost in the semis of the Lyon Open. As it stands, Medvedev, Cobolli, Fils, Tiafoe, and Rafael Jódar would qualify, though Alex de Minaur, Djokovic, and Taylor Fritz remain in the mix.

Fritz was a finalist at the Lyon Open, losing in straight sets to Lorenzo Musetti to move ahead of Tommy Paul. Djokovic lost in his first match at the Shanghai Masters and will play the Swiss Indoors with Fritz, Shelton, Fils, and Jódar before heading to Paris. Paul, de Minaur, Tiafoe, Cobolli, Medvedev, Alcaraz, and Zverev are competing in the Vienna Open.

Recent Form

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina won in Shanghai and won’t play again until the Paris Masters. Seeing off Tiafoe, Jódar, and Zverev, the Spaniard deserves consideration heading into this event, despite rarely being a factor in Grand Slams or Masters events.

Medvedev is playing his best tennis in years. He won in Hangzhou, reached the semis in Beijing and Shanghai, and added his fourth title of the year in Almaty. He’s only got two wins against top 10 players this year, though.

It’s hard to get a proper read on Alcaraz coming into this one. He won in Tokyo, but a straight sets loss to Zizou Bergs was a concerning sign. Zverev’s form has also been patchy since winning the US Open.

Paris Masters Betting Tips

Medvedev is poised for another deep run. Jódar is the most dangerous player in this draw outside the top two, but the Spaniard’s loss to Fokina in the Shanghai final might suggest he’s not quite ready to compete when the lights are brightest.

Cobolli has had a string of underwhelming results since reaching the semis in Cincinnati. Aside from a win over Tiafoe in Tokyo, Fils’ record is disappointing since his Cincinnati title. Yes, Auger-Aliassime was a finalist at this event last year, but he’s only reached one Masters quarter-final in 2026.

Bettors will need to see more from Shelton in Basel to back him after posting a 1-3 record in his four matches since the US Open. His upside means he’s one of a couple of players capable of beating Alcaraz and Zverev at or near to their best, but confidence in the big-serving American is low.

Medvedev and Jódar represent the value outside the top two in the sports betting market. Keep a close eye on how players perform in Vienna and Basel as they prepare for this event.
