This is a huge game on Saturday night, with the league now split into the top six and bottom six, Celtic will be looking to pick up their twenty-second league win of the season to put the pressure on fellow title contenders Hearts and Rangers that play on Sunday, whilst Falkirk will be hoping to keep alive their slim chances of securing European football.
Celtic return to Celtic Park having secured their spot in the Scottish Cup final with a 6-2 victory (AET) last weekend, Martin O’Neill’s side have lost just one of their last six home league games, whilst they’ve lost none of their last seventeen games against Falkirk in all competitions, winning each of the last eight meetings. Falkirk have made the top six split but with five games left to play and eight points behind Motherwell in fourth, a European spot seems unlikely but they can have a big say in this title race, you’ve got to go back to 1994 for the last time they won away at Cetic.
