Emma Raducanu Wimbledon Record: Injury Rules British Hope Out Of 2026 Tournament
Emma Raducanu will NOT compete at Wimbledon 2026 after suffering a stress fracture injury, with the British player confirming that she will miss this summer’s Grand Slam less than 24 hours before she was due to play.
British tennis fans will be gutted to hear the news but hopefully it won’t be long until Raducanu is fully recovered and is back in action.
Emma Raducanu’s Wimbledon Record
| Year | Result |
|---|---|
| 2021 | Fourth Round |
| 2022 | Second Round |
| 2023 | Absent |
| 2024 | Fourth Round |
| 2025 | Third Round |
| 2026 | Absent |
Raducanu has reached the Wimbledon fourth round on two occasions, in 2021 and 2024, and she was hoping to arrive for 2026 with a 9-4 record at the Championships before injury ruled her out of the tournament.
Her best Wimbledon runs have both been built on clean ball-striking and quick starts, and her grass-court numbers are better than her results on clay.
Her first big Wimbledon breakthrough came in 2021, when she entered as a wildcard and reached the fourth round before retiring against Ajla Tomljanović.
In 2024, she reached the last 16 again, beating Renata Zarazúa, Elise Mertens, and Maria Sakkari before losing to Lulu Sun. In 2025, she made the third round before falling to Aryna Sabalenka.
Her grass record in the WTA timeline sits at 16-10, which supports the idea that Wimbledon suits her game better than most other majors do.
She has also shown that she can handle top opposition on the surface, with top-10 wins over Jessica Pegula at Eastbourne and Maria Sakkari at Wimbledon in 2024.
