Wimbledon Day 12 Predictions: Best Bets On Friday 10th July 2026

| BY Sam Cox

The men’s Wimbledon semifinals take place on Friday and William Hill News preview both matches ahead of what should be a thrilling day of tennis.

It might sound routine with the top two seeds joined by an all-time great, but the fourth member of the semifinalists has been an extraordinary journey to reach this stage of the competition.

Wimbledon Predictions Friday:

  • Arthur Fery to win a set (7/10)
  • Jannik Sinner -5.5 games (Evens)

Without further ado, here are our tennis betting picks:

Arthur Fery vs Alexander Zverev

The first wild card to reach a Wimbledon semifinal since Goran Ivanišević, Arthur Fery continues to astonish. He’s upset the odds over and over again, but the win over Flavio Cobolli might be the most remarkable of the lot.

After playing 18 sets across the first four rounds, including a five-set epic with Grigor Dimitrov, Fery had the relative luxury of a straight sets win over Cobolli. The Italian didn’t even win a game in the clinching set. It was Fery’s first win against a top 10 player, a tally he will be looking to double on Friday.

Alexander Zverev, after finally winning a Grand Slam at Roland Garros, is into his first Wimbledon semifinal. Taylor Fritz boasted an exceptional record against Zverev, but the German put in an assured performance to win his quarterfinal in straight sets.

Is this a step too far for Fery? Probably. Do we feel comfortable betting against him? Not at all.

Jannik Sinner vs Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic showed he can still go the distance by seeing off Félix Auger-Aliassime in a five-hour marathon in the semifinal. Djokovic’s resilience was on full display once again and he will need to be at his very best if he’s to give Jannik Sinner a scare on Friday.

It’s worth remembering, though, that Djokovic beat Sinner at this year’s Australian Open. That ended a five-match winning run for Sinner in this contest. The Italian has barely broken sweat since overcoming a first-round scare at Wimbledon, and should have too much for Djokovic.

Despite his success over Sinner in Melbourne, it’s hard to see how Djokovic lives with the world number one in a best-of-five match. Djokovic’s form in 2026 is largely unimpressive with premature exits at Indian Wells, Roland Garros, and Rome.

The win at the Australian Open was a last hurrah for Djokovic as a legitimate Grand Slam contender. Sinner is heading to a second consecutive Wimbledon final.
