Bookies not Kean on new Blackburn boss
WITH Steve Kean being appointed as Blackburn manager, William Hill are already offering odds of 5/6 that he will be OUT of the job by the first day of next season.'
Since Sam Allardyce left Blackburn they have been one of the best backed teams to be relegated and are now down to 7/1 for the drop' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
And Hills make Kean 28/1 to be the NEXT Premier League manager to leave his job.
Hills have paid out to customers who backed Kean to get the job - but say that anyone who backed any other contender to become the next Blackburn manager will have their bet carried over until Kean is succeeded by the next permanent boss at the club.
'As it is Christmas, we are paying out on Kean, but letting all other bets on the market stand until the manager after Kean is permanently appointed' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.'We think punters may not have long to wait to find out who that will be.'
