Can Blackburn pile the misery on United?
Man Utd can go back to the top of the table if they can bounce back from their Champions League exit with a win over much-improved Blackburn Rovers.
With Chelsea and Arsenal not playing in the league this weekend, United can set the pace and put all the pressure on their rivals.
Blackburn have lost just two of their last eight matches, to Liverpool and Tottenham, which has seen them move past the 40 point threshold and eleventh in the table.
Sam Allerdyce's side (6/1) are really solid at home, losing just two matches all season, the last one as far back as December. They might fancy their chances against a tired, demoralised and Rooney-less United side.
Man Utd (1/2) could turn up looking to show they can cope without the world's best striker and put on a show. Sir Alex will certainly be looking for a reaction and for his side to fight for the title right to the end.
I think with Blackburn so solid at home and Man Utd heads down, it could be the perfect time for Blackburn to cause an upset. 15/4 is available on the draw no bet or 6/4 on the double chance, if you like an outsider those prices have to be worth a go.
Man Utd will be without Wayne Rooney and long-term absentees Anderson, Brown and Owen. John O'Shea returned from injury in the Bayern match and could feature.
Allerdyce's big decision will be whether to keep youngster Phil Jones at centre back who has been impressive in his recent games or opt for the more experienced Ryan Nelsen who is returning from injury.
Blackburn have lost their last four matches against United in all competitions, and haven't won in any of the last eight.
Rooney aside, Man Utd will be relying on Berbatov to get their goals. He has smashed in 12 in the league and is 10/3 to score first.
Blackburn have had troubles scoring this season, their top scorer is midfielder David Dunn (10/3 to score anytime). Up front they will be looking to Nikola Kalinic to be more lethal in front of goal and he is 9/1 to score first.
If Blackburn can defend well, there is no reason why they can't at least get a point (draw is 3/1). If Man Utd can come out of the blocks flying, with the possibility of going to the top of the table - then there is not much anyone can do about it.
