Champions League Opta Facts - December 4-5

Dinamo Zagreb v Dynamo Kyiv

o Dynamo Kyiv will play in the Europa League after Christmas, while Dinamo Zagreb have been eliminated from European competition altogether.
o Dinamo Zagreb are the only team without a goal in this season's Champions League. They could become only the third team ever to fail to score in a Champions League Group after Maccabi Haifa 2009-10 and Deportivo La Coruna in 2004-05.
o Zagreb have attempted fewer shots (excluding blocked attempts) than any other team in the competition (22).
o Dinamo Zagreb have allowed their opponents more shots on target against them than any other team in the Champions League (40).
o The Croatian side have failed to score in 11 of their last 13 matches in European competition excluding qualifiers.
o Zagreb have lost two and won none of their three matches in Europe against Ukrainian opposition.

Olympiacos v Arsenal

Malaga v Anderlecht

o Malaga are guaranteed to finish top of Group C.
o Zenit and Anderlecht are vying for qualification for the Europa League. If Zenit better Anderlecht's result, the Russians will qualify and if the Belgians better Zenit's, then Anderlecht will qualify
o If both sides draw, Zenit will progress, but two wins or two defeats will see the final positions go down to goal difference, goals scored or even UEFA co-efficients.
o Anderlecht have fired in fewer shots on target than any other team in the competition (7).
o Only Salvatore Sirigu of PSG (88.2%) has a better saves to shots ratio in the Champions League than Willy Caballero of Malaga this season (86.4%).

AC Milan v Zenit St Petersburg

o AC Milan are guaranteed to finish second in Group C.

Borussia Dortmund v Manchester City

o Borussia Dortmund are guaranteed to finish top of Group D.
o Manchester City must beat Dortmund and hope that Ajax do not beat Real Madrid if they are to qualify to play in the Europa League after Christmas.
o In the Champions League this season, when Man City have scored first they have lost and when they have conceded first they have drawn the game.
o Dortmund have conceded six goals from the 85th minute of games onward in their last seven Champions League matches, plus they have netted two in this period themselves.
o Dortmund have never lost a UEFA competition match (excludes Fairs Cup) against an English side on home soil (W3 D3 L0).
o Manchester City have won one and lost four of their previous European trips to Germany.

Shakhtar v Juventus
