Colchester seeking (Weston) Home comforts

After 98 years at Layer Road Colchester finally moved to a new stadium, the Weston Home Community Stadium.

Yet so far it seems the players are missing the charm of Layer Road as they are yet to win at their new home.

Perhaps Saturday will be the day that the U's finally win at home. As they are facing one of the most out of form teams in the country in Carlisle.

The Cumbrians have lost seven of their last eight games (in all competitions), with them picking up a draw last weekend at home to Peterborough the odd game out.

However, even this is not as impressive as it sounds as the home side threw away a 3-1 lead only for the Posh to comeback, grabbing a draw with an injury time equaliser.

Therefore if there was an ideal team for Colchester to play at their new stadium and break their duck it has to be Carlisle. The home side are available at 13/10, with the visitors 21/10 shots and the draw at 23/10.

Elsewhere Leicester look very backable at home to Northampton. The Foxes are 8/13 to beat their East Midlands neighbours. MK Dons are also 8/13 to win at home, they are up against strugglers Cheltenham.

A £10 treble on Colchester, Leicester and MK Dons would pay returns of £60.02.
