Finishing top not such a tall order for Spurs

Tottenham will need to match or better Inter's result to top Group A and the way they have been playing in Europe this season, and after beating Twente 4-1 in the reverse fixture, there is no reason why they can't storm through finishing top.

Twente (21/10) are doing well domestically, they are joint top with PSV and have recovered from a recent blip. They have only won one match in the group stage though, a 2-0 away win at Werder Bremen. They will drop in to the Europa League regardless of how results go.

Tottenham (13/10) have performed above expectations so far and top Group A with three wins, one draw and one defeat. They are suffering from a mini injury crisis, especially at the back but they still have players who can turn a game with a moment of brilliance.

Spurs are unbeaten in over a month in all competitions since their 4-2 defeat away at Bolton. They have had massive wins over Liverpool, Arsenal, Werder Bremen and Blackburn in that time and confidence has never been higher.

There are several big names missing for Tottenham though and it could factor in when having a bet. Younes Kaboul, Michael Dawson, Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate are all expected to be missing from central defence alone. Tom Huddlestone will be missing to sit in front of the decent and Rafael van der Vaart will sit out to link the midfield to the attack.

Most clubs would really struggle with those names missing but such is the depth of Tottenham's squad, they can still play Sebastien Bassong and William Gallas at the back. They also have Jermain Defoe, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Peter Crouch to get the goals and obviously Gareth Bale.

The Welsh left-sided maestro has been unstoppable and is 15/2 to score first which is a great price. We have also enhanced his price to score two or more goals which looks massive at 14/1.

Twente have drawn both matches at home in the Champions League so do be wary of the draw in this match at 23/10. Spurs also look a decent price in the draw no bet market at 8/13.

Twente are something of a "contact side" thought so for something a bit different, why not check out our range of card markets as they have committed 95 fouls, more than any other team in the Champions League.

Also check out our penalty specials on this match as Twente have conceded more than any other side in the competition (3) while Spurs have won more than any other (4) so more spot-kicks could be on the cards here.

With Spurs desperate to show they deserve to be amongst the biggest names in the world by topping this group and finishing above Inter, I fully expect them not to take their foot off the gas when they line up against Twente.

With the greatest of respect for the Dutch champions, they could struggle to cope with everything Tottenham have to offer.
