Hughes hopes to Dole out a right Royal thumping

The QPR manager has received numerous votes of confidence from the chairman. However sincere these may be, a return of three points from nine matches played will be a massive disappointment to everyone concerned with the club.

If an axe fell, it's Mark Hughes' head that will roll.

Reading aren't exactly causing ructions or even ripples in the top echelons of the Premier League and like QPR, are without a win this season, though they have managed one point more than their rivals having played one game less.

QPR have made a habit recently of losing by the odd goal and with neither team able to score as freely or regularly as they would want, covering yourself by backing a one goal win in the correct score market, and -1 on the goal handicap.

In addition, the Double Result bet of Draw/Reading may well be the value in what is expected to be a tight match between teams more desperate to avoid defeat than anything else.

The two sides have already met once this season at Loftus Road, with Reading winning 3-2 against Rangers in the Capital One Cup, and with five red cards in the last four league meetings between the pair (QPR losing a man in every match), you can expect it to be a fiery affair in west London.

The Royals have never drawn a Premier League game in November (W3 L4), whilst QPR have only drawn two of their 18 Premier League games in the same month. Having said that, with the form of these sides suggesting a stalemate is on the cards, don't shy away from the generous 5/2 on offer.

Having conceded six twice in Premier League history on a Sunday, QPR don't relish this day, yet could spring a surprise on a Reading side who face life after being on the wrong side of a 7-5 thriller against Arsenal in midweek. Goal-scoring Russian Pavel Pgrebnyak is a tasty 12/1 to net a brace at Loftus Road, whilst on the other hand, QPR are 8/5 to keep a clean sheet.

Coverage of this potential relegation battle begins on Sky Sports 1 at 1300, with kick-off half an hour later. Remember, with the Home of Betting, you are able to bet now and in-play on this, and all Premier League matches this, and every season.
