It’s a family affair for Frank and Frank Lampard
Frank Lampard Jr will come face-to-face with his father for the first time in his football career on Saturday when Watford take on Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Lampard Sr is Watford's football consultant, and ever since the two teams were picked out of the hat on 25 January, will have been plotting his son's downfall.
For his part, Lampard Jr will most certainly want to get one over his old man - the England international has only one FA Cup winners' medal in his collection, while his dad has two.
The game is made even more poignant for the two men as their beloved wife and mother, Pat, will not be around to see the occasion, having suddenly passed away from pneumonia last April.
Following Luiz Felipe Scolari's shock sacking by Chelsea during the week, assistant manager Ray Wilkins will take temporary charge of the team, with new boss Guus Hiddink watching from the stands.
The Dutchman - who will continue in his role as Russia manager - will be looking for some considerable improvements from recent months, and this game could well be the confidence booster a low-in-confidence Chelsea team need. The Blues should win the match comfortably, and are priced at 4/11 to do so.
The Hornets, meanwhile, are languishing in the Championship relegation zone, and have rightly been made the outsiders for the clash - 8/1 says they'll win in the 90 minutes, while the draw is a 7/2 shot.
With regular captain John Terry suspended, Lampard Jr will skipper the side on what is sure to be an emotional day for him and his family - his sisters will be among the sold-out Vicarage Road crowd. It would be fitting if the talismanic midfielder were to find the back of the net. He's 5/1 to score the first (or last) goal of the game, and 5/4 to score at any point in the tie.
